1. Malignant Disorders

Our Malignant Disorders section focuses on diagnosing and treating various forms of blood cancers. This includes:

  • Leukaemia: We offer advanced therapies for both acute and chronic leukaemia, utilising the latest research and clinical trials to provide the best outcomes for our patients. Our treatments include:
    • Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL)
    • Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML)

2. Benign Disorders (Inherited & Acquired)

Our Solid Tumours division addresses cancers that affect organs and tissues other than blood. This includes:

    • Breast Cancer: Comprehensive care including surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and targeted therapies.
    • Lung Cancer: Offering advanced treatments such as immunotherapy and precision medicine.
    • Colorectal Cancer: Multidisciplinary approach including surgical interventions, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy.
    • Prostate Cancer: Providing a range of treatments from active surveillance to advanced hormone therapy and radiation.
    • Other Solid Tumours: Including gastric, pancreatic, liver, and ovarian cancers with tailored treatment plans.

4. Haemoglobinopathies

Specialising in disorders affecting haemoglobin, our team treats conditions such as:

  • Sickle Cell Disease: Comprehensive management including pain management, blood transfusions, and potential curative therapies like bone marrow transplantation.
  • Haemoglobin C and E Diseases: Managing complications with appropriate medical interventions and monitoring.

5. Myeloproliferative Neoplasms

Our services for Myeloproliferative Neoplasms (MPNs) include diagnosis and treatment of:

  • Polycythemia Vera: Managing with phlebotomy, low-dose aspirin, and cytoreductive therapies.
  • Essential Thrombocythemia: Utilising therapies to reduce platelet count and prevent complications.

6. Bone Marrow Failure Disorders

7. Haemostasis & Coagulation Disorders

  • Haemophilia: Providing factor replacement therapy and prophylactic treatments.
  • Von Willebrand Disease: Managing with desmopressin and factor replacement therapies.
  • Acquired Coagulation Disorders: Treating conditions like disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC) and vitamin K deficiency with appropriate medical interventions.
  • Thrombophilia: Addressing genetic and acquired thrombophilic conditions with anticoagulation therapy and monitoring.
