Education & Training Department
To articulate with NIBD’s objective of serving as the reference institute in the region to provide best patient care and to promote education and research. Education and Training Department (Pharmacy) was established in 2012. This department conducts different programs for postgraduate, graduate and undergraduate pharmacy students to learn and practice different aspects of hospital and clinical pharmacy. These programs include a 6 month Traineeship Program for pharmacy graduates, a Clinical Pharmacy Course for final year students as well as graduates, a Rudimentary Course for 3rd and 4th Year PharmD Students. NIBD is also serving as a training site for Clinical Clerkship for Karachi University 5th Professional Year Students for the past 6 years. Continuous Pharmacy Education (CPE) sessions and one day workshop / seminars are also organized time to time to polish and refine the hospital & clinical skills of practicing pharmacist to help adjust with the ever changing pharmacy career demands. So far the E&T Department has catered to thousands of students and pharmacists by providing top notch trainings in field of Hospital & Clinical Pharmacy.
